How to change the pages
- Set the journal on a flat surface and open the ring mechanism carefully.
- Remove completed pages and file them by date or project.
- Align compatible refill sheets with all six rings.
- Close the mechanism fully and turn several pages to check alignment.
Avoid overfilling the rings. Pages should turn comfortably and the leather strap should close without force. A notebook-insert folio or traveler’s notebook uses a different refill system.

Writing and care
Kraft paper gives notes a warm background. Pen, nib and ink choices affect writing results; test a small area first if show-through or bleed-through matters. Wipe the cover with a soft, dry cloth and avoid soaking or direct heat. Leather grain and tone can change with use.

Yes. Open the six rings to add, remove or move compatible sheets, then close them completely before writing.
Does any A5 paper fit?
No. Check both the sheet dimensions and six-hole positions. A5 notebook inserts and proprietary ring layouts may not fit this mechanism.
Is replacement paper included in this purchase?
The journal includes 168 kraft-paper pages. Additional refill packs are sold separately.
Can I return an engraved journal?
